Hi, I’m Mel, founder of Perform PR. I have over 15 years’ experience in communications, a First-Class Honours degree in Media Management and a diploma in Integrated Marketing. I’m a former professional dancer and qualified dance teacher, so I understand the world of performing arts training first-hand.
I’ve worked with leading agencies on high-profile campaigns for brands including Disney, Warner Bros., Universal, TikTok, Sony Pictures and Paramount, as well as managing media relations for talent and creative projects across the entertainment industry.
After years of working on campaigns for global entertainment brands, I wanted to bring that same level of strategic PR to the performing arts schools and colleges shaping the next generation of performers. That’s why I created Perform PR.
